Royal-Zenith II Hotel 4*

I visited this hotel in September 2012. I had to visit Moscow on business, that’s why I didn’t spend much time choosing a place to stay. Nevertheless, I have to say that I was really surprised with it. The hotel is not so big, in fact it’s rather small, but I finally figured out that it’s an advantage since you get a lot of attention from the staff which is by the way very friendly and always ready to help you. Everyone is speaking English. The girls from the reception are very nice and gave me the room on a second floor overlooking the Moskva river. The view is outstanding. The weather was perfect. What is more – there are a lot of beautiful trees and you can feel the atmosphere of Russian fall, it’s so fantastic. As far as I understand the hotel is located on the territory of the city park, so if you have enough time you can have a walk and I assure you, you’ll be really delighted with it.

As for the rooms, they are very nice and comfortable, spacious enough for two. There are twin beds, hot tub, mini-bar, free wi-fi. There is also a spa center nearby. I stayed at the hotel for 4 days, and had some kind of bonus – free hour of Thai massage, the masseuse is from Thailand, very nice and friendly also. The spa and the restaurant is 24-hour free. The room service is also free. Maybe one drawback is that there are not so many places to eat nearby. All in all, the hotel is close to the airport, not far from the metro station, which can be reached within 10 min.

Overall speaking, the Royal-Zenith Hotel is good at reasonable price, an excellent four star.
